Lab: Newtonian Magic

For this lab, you will be developing your own theories on the laws of motion, conducting observations and using those observations to refine your theory. You will be learning four street magic tricks that use the laws of motion to work.

Objectives/Parameters:

• you will rotate through the four stations, conducting observations at each using each observatin to refine your own theory on the laws of motion

• we will then come back together as a class to discuss your theories and develop one unified theory as a class

• conduct further observations to ensure the new theory holds true.
