Ruben's Tube
Objective:
Students will experiment with the fiery oscilloscope known as a Rubin's Tube
Learning Targets:

Students will practice the scientific method to to determine how sound impacts the fire coming from the Ruben's tube.
Background:
The Ruben's Tube is a unique set up that can show us something of the nature of sound waves with the help of flames. How does sound travel through the air? How does sound interact with the air as it travels through it? How do different pitches affect the wave form? Different volumes?
